Beer
Competition between brewers is increasing. More stringent environmental demands force breweries to lower costs, increase quality and to look for innovative technologies. NORIT Process Technology develops on a continuous base such technologies. One of our latest proven technologies is the Kieselguhr free membrane filtration, now operational in two European breweries. Decolourisation of beer is a second innovative application of membranes which helps breweries to reach the higher flexibility and product standards, caused by the hype around alcopops and beer based premixes. Furthermore, beer recovery from yeast is a third application of membranes which already shows great opportunities, even though it is still in development stage.
As already mentioned before NORIT Process Technology integrates several ‘plug and play’ units. In concrete terms we can a.o., offer the following units:
These units are deliverable as stand alone units, combined into processing area projects - also referred as ‘cold-block’ projects - or in Greenfield breweries, then completed with automation, project management, consultancy and engineering et al.
