Cleaning in the brewery Producing a beer of high - and above all constant - quality is impossible without good CIP cleaning. The item to be cleaned must be washed efficiently and for as short a time as possible using a minimum of water and cleaning liquids. The results should of course, be perfect, and it should be possible to record all the relevant information during the cycle. To achieve this, a great deal of attention is paid in the design phase not only to the actual CIP set, but especially to the cleaning circuits, to the parts of the process to be cleaned and the connections to these. The cleaning circuits are designed in such a way that no static liquids remain when cleaning has finished. There is optimum phase seperation between the various cleaning liquids, and each item is washed using only the desired liquids. As far as possible, NORIT Process Technology tries to limit the number of CIP systems in your brewery by combining them in central CIP systems. |
