Flash Pasteurisation
Beer, softdrinks and other carbonated products are gently pasteurised using steam heated water. Compared to the tunnel pasteuriser, temperature transfer is optimised due to hydrodynamic designed plates. Full automatic control avoids any over- or underpasteurisation. Process Description Heating and cooling occurs by plate heat exchangers. The ingoing product is (pre)heated in an effective regenerative section - (re)using energy of the outgoing product - and finally heated up to pasteurisation temperature by means of hot water and kept for the pasteurisation temperature until the required PU number is achieved. After the first regenerative cooling step, a glycol cooling section ensures the desired temperature of the outgoing product. |
